Busy Weekend! (for a stay at home mom)

Spencer had to move out of one apartment on Friday and couldn't move into the next until Monday... so he spent the weekend with us. It was really nice to have extra hands around the house to help with the kids. Spencer even changes diapers! He can stay with us anytime :) And yes Spencer tied this couch onto the top of his car because he had no other way to move it.
Peppers old car seat was a hand-me-down and I didn't feel like it was the safest. Or the prettiest. So we finally up-grated to this new one. And it is even brown and tan to match the car :)
For Activity Days we did a daddy daughter Pine Wood Derby. I was impressed by all of the girls cars. They spent a lot more time making them look "cute" then the average boy does.
Straight from the Pine Wood Derby I took Pepper to Layla's birthday Party. Layla's mom (Lindsay) is one of my favorite co-workers ever. We worked at the Beehive Homes together a couple of years ago and still keep in contact. Pepper is barely a month older then Layla... but she looks a lot bigger to me.
From the birthday party we picked up Robert/Spencer/Tabor and went to their (minus Tabor) soccer game. All of the pictures I took of the game turned out dark, but here is one of Pepper and Hailey watching their dads play. We had dinner with the Curtis' that night and then watched Avatar.
Sunday the McKeon family was in town. We celebrated Rachel's birthday with her. It was fun to see the cousins from California.

First of all... the ducks in provo/orem are seriously over fed. We throw bread practically into thier mouths and they won't eat it. But Pepper loves to be around ducks anyway so we still visit them. The park has become our best friend. Along with the sunshine. We go to a park nearly everyday. The bottom picture is what Pepper looks like when I tell her it is time to go. Crying on my legs. Korver went with us on our last park adventure... although we usually make the trip with just Tabor, Pepper and I. There are more pictures of a different day at the park I will put on later but Robert erased them off the camera when he put them on his computer. And once again I can't figure out why this picture is sideways so I am pretending it is not.

Sleep Anyone?

This little man is nocturnal. I am pretty sure. Either that or he is afraid of the dark. He will sleep for 4 hours wake up and stay up. And he does not stop crying if I leave things dark. As soon as I turn the light on ( usually to find a pacifier) he is a happy camper. I try my best to get him to go back to sleep. I am just not very successful. Last night after he cried for 2 hours in the dark (yes I fed, changed and rocked him) I was desperate. I made him a little bed in the hall way and left him there with the light on. He was fine for about a half an hour then he decided he was tired of being awake. So no just because the light is on does not mean he is at ease and will go to sleep. It just means he is happy while he is awake. Anyway... day time is good for us. I love to see his little face then :)

Tabor's Blessing

It was a wonderful day! We had Robert's and my parents, as well as both sets of Roberts grandparents & my Grandma Paxman in town for the conference weekend. So we decided to bless Tabor & his cousin Colter between sessions. Things started out a little crazy as Robert had an upset stomach, we couldn't get a hold of the Salmon grandparents, who were going to follow us to the church and then we got lost. (It was at the Kinghorns church building... we do know where our church is :) but we finally made it there. The blessings went well, although I am a little worried because nothing was mentioned about Tabor finding a wife... although they did mention making temple covenants. Anyway we had the 3 grandpa's share their testimony and then we had a lunch-in. Thanks to all of those who helped out!
