Grandma Left

My mom came down for Pepper's birth. Unfortunatly Pepper came 9 days late so my mom spent her first week here deep cleaning the house and organizing. She also did the grocery shopping and cooking. She was so much help! Once Pepper was born she stayed up with her at night... while I slept peacefully (except when she needed fed). We will have to try and survive without her now because she headed back to Washington this morning.

This Week...

Pepper peacefully sleeping. Pretty in pink.
Peppers Grandpa & Grandma Paxman and Great Grandpa & Grandma Paxman were able to visit. This is a 4 generation picture. I am sad Robert was at work when we took it.

Playing games with the Paxman side of the family.

More at the hospital...

I just wanted to add a couple pictures I got from my mom's camera. First with my two sisters. And then Autumn with her niece and nephew.

Pepper Lyn

It's a girl! Pepper was born at 3:34am Monday, March 16th 2009. Pepper was posterior and had some problems keeping a strong heartbeat (the doctor thought she may have the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck), but as soon as the doctor was able to turn her with the forceps, she came out alright.
8 pounds 7 ounces. 21 inches long. And adorable.

Grandma Vicki's first two grandchildren. She is here as well. I need to borrow her camera to get her pictures off of it.
Sarah & David came to visit us in the hospital. Heather was there as well. So they held both Korver and Pepper.
Sarah made Pepper's "Birth Day Cake". It says her PLS on top, for Pepper Lyn Salmon.

Both Kayden and Hailey seemed unsure about the new baby. Spencer had to hold them in the picture, they were trying to get away.
Robert stayed with me through both nights in the hospital. He was so much help! Although we both had a hard time keeping our eyes open by the end of day 2.
Pepper wore green pants on her way home from the hospital, for St. Patrick's day.

Walking Does Not Work...

My mother came in town on March 7th. Which yes... was my due date. It is now March 14th and I still have no signs of labor pains. Mother and Heather have been making me walk all week. I was getting tierd of walking without progress, so they had to think of creative ways to get me out and about. So we went to the zoo. The elephant in the middle picture is pregnant and due this summer. Elephants are pregnant 22-24 months so I wanted to get a picture by her because she knows how I feel. Although I will clarify... I am very happy that I am able to be pregnant.
