Feeding the Ducks

Korver and Pepper loved feeding the ducks. Well Pepper more of just watched. When I handed her a piece of the old stale bread it went straight to her mouth. Both of the kids pointed at the ducks the whole time. It was so nice to get out and do a fun/cheap activity.

Valentines

Well Valentines is a whole new story when you become a parent. For Valentines day we went over to the Kinghorns and decorated cookies. It was fun although the kids were more interested in eating the cookies rather then decorating. We even let Pepper have a cookie. Also, we had a ward Valentines dance. I can't honestly say we did a lot of dancing but it was fun to dress up.

A NEW COUSIN

Mike and Emily had a baby boy at the end of January. We visited them in the hospital and Pepper was totally uninterested in the baby. It is easy to ignore someone for a hour or two... we will have to see what happens when her baby brother arrives and he sticks around. I don't think I have ever officially posted about this pregnancy. I am due to have a baby boy on March 8th 2010. And Peppers birthday is March 16, 2009. So yes, my babies are likely to be under a year apart. Irish twins. I will have my hands full but I am really excited! (Oh and Pepper is with her grandma salmon in the bottom picture)

A dress from Grandma Salmon

For Christmas Pepper got a dress from her Grandma Salmon. Like most dresses it fit up top, but was to short for Pepper. So her Grandma Salmon took it back and added a black ribbon to the bottom to add extra length. It looks perfect. I think she looks so cute. Unfortunately that morning I was checking the expiration date on a yogurt when Pepper snuck up behind me and pulled the pitcher of grape juice out of the fridge. Which splashed all over the kitchen and on Peppers nylons. By some miracle it missed the dress. So anyway, that is why her nylons look splotchy.

Christmas

Pepper opening up her stocking at the Bruce & Lori Salmon Family household on Christmas morning. She enjoyed taking things out and playing with ribbons/wrapping paper. And then here she is with her uncle James. Pepper loves her uncles/dad/grandpa's etc. She likes men. Go figure.

Seattle

Every year the Salmon family makes a trip to down town Seattle. They look at the Gingerbread House displays, go on the merry-go-round and then finish the day at Ivar's. Robert was so excited to take Pepper on the merry-go-round . Pepper was excited to sit on the horse as well... until the music started then she looked worried, by the time it started moving she was bawling.

Botanical Gardens

The display of lights was amazing (which you really can't tell from these pic's). But you can tell Pepper was fascinated by them. Her uncle tanner took her over to get a closer look at the big ball of lights... she was stunned. P.S. she does not wear this flees everyday, she just happens to have it on in the majority of the last few updates.

The Walker

Pepper has mastered the art of crawling. She is super fast. She can now stand (free-handed) but whenever she tries to walk she goes down. I think it is because she just wants to go super fast. Which is not the best speed for learning. But this walker worked perfect... she could take off and not worry about balance. Pepper squealed and laughed while trying to escape whenever Robert chased her. Unfortunately, I just got the tail end of the chase. She also spent a good deal of her Christmas break chasing after her Grandpa Paxman.

Hot Tubing with Grandma!

There was a hot tub at the house we rented. Pepper and Korver loved it... grandma got to take them in because Heather and I can't go in hot tubs do to pregnancy. They didn't seem to mind. They love their grandma.
