Pepper & Cecily

I don't know why in the world the middle picture won't flip. But it won"t. We went to the tri-cities this past Sunday for Cecily Jones' blessing. Five or six years ago Sarah and I would day dream about marrying David and Robert (Sarah to David; Me to Robert) and having kids. Now it is a reality. I am so glad Robert and I got married. He is such a wonderful husband and father. And having Pepper in our family is so fun!

Lake Sammamish

Growing up I thought Lake Sammamish was a dream come true. Well, not a lot has changed. And I am so happy Pepper thinks the same way. She is a perfect daughter for lake lovers like Robert and I. This is fourth of july weekend while the Curtis' were in town. We had so much fun with the family at the lake.

California

This is Pepper's first time on an airplane. Minutes after take-off she fell asleep and didn't wake up until we started deboarding the airplane. I was a little hesitant to introduce Pepper to the ocean... because it is a lot colder then my grandmas pool (which is the only water she has ever been in besides the bathtub). But I am sure glad we did. She loved the water! Robert sat with Pepper on the shore line as the waves hit her feet. Then a big wave came up and Robert had to lift her above his head so the water didnt get in her face.

We went to California for Kjarsta's wedding. We had a lot of fun spending time with family and sharing this special day with her.

Captain Moroni

Tanner was Captain Moroni for the primary activity in our ward. Strong in stature :)Unfortunatly he no longer had his title of liberty when I took his picture. Then I had to get a couple with him and Pepper. I think she is so cute in her sun hat. She had it on while we were out working on the yard.

Pool Time!

This afternoon my grandparents pool was calling our names. It was so hot outside. The water even got up to 90 degrees. So we thought this was the perfect oppertunity for Pepper's first pool adventure. She was in the water for over an hour and loved every minute of it. We carried around an umbrella to shade her, since she is too young to wear sunscreen.

Pepper is always doing something with her mouth. Talking, sticking out her tounge, sucking on her fingers or binki. The bottom picture is Pepper with her uncle Tanner.

memorial day

On memorial day we spent the morning playing pickleball with both Roberts and my immediate familys. We then went over to my grandpa and grandma Newtons to swim. The weather was perfect and the pool was warm... and we had a great time. The boys played basketball, although somehow tackleing found it's way into the game. Or we could just call it mormon basketball. :)

She Loves Her Daddy

All of our posts have been about Pepper. But lets be honest, ever since Pepper has been born our life has been all about Pepper. Oh and you will notice that Pepper smiles with her tounge sticking out... just like her mother! She smiles a lot for her daddy!

Hanging Out

Pepper is turning in to a chatterbox. I hope she keeps it up, so I always will know how her day at school was. She looks older each day (atleast to me) so here are the latest pictures of her.

slipper boots

Pepper got these slipper/boots at a garage sale. I love them because they actually stay on her feet. Unlike socks which tend to come off as soon as she starts wiggling around. And she is what my dad calls a wiggly worm! Pepper also smiles, talks and looks around all the time now. I love how alert she is. She is growing up so fast :)
