Walking Does Not Work...

My mother came in town on March 7th. Which yes... was my due date. It is now March 14th and I still have no signs of labor pains. Mother and Heather have been making me walk all week. I was getting tierd of walking without progress, so they had to think of creative ways to get me out and about. So we went to the zoo. The elephant in the middle picture is pregnant and due this summer. Elephants are pregnant 22-24 months so I wanted to get a picture by her because she knows how I feel. Although I will clarify... I am very happy that I am able to be pregnant.

New Years Eve!

My family has this tradition where we start off the New Years by toasting with sparkling cider, then jumping into Lake Sammamish. Afterwards everyone runs to shore to drink hot chocolate and stand around the fire. This year there was a little snow left on the ground so those 20 people who went in were quite brave. It was very cold. Robert, James and Tanner proved how manly they were by swimming around the bouie. I used being pregnant as an excuse to stay out of the and take pictures. This year we ended the night with Brady (my cousin) and Tanner (my brother) setting of a couple fireworks.

Tanner's Court of Honor

Tanner got his eagle, and he didn't wait until the last minute either! Here he is with my parents.
The 4 siblings.

Robert and I are so lucky to have families that are such good friends with eachother.
Grandma Paxman and I are playing with my nephew Korver.

Red Ear Sliders

Autumn's friend Stuart Barrett bought these adorable red ear sliders while he was at college. He was getting his mission papers in order and thought maybe he should find them a new home since he wouldnt be around to care for them. We took them. We love them! This picture (and the one above) is to show how small they are...not how badley my eyebrows need plucked.

And we still have our fire bellied toads. Didn't want them to think we forgot about them. Here is Lupe sitting on top of her cave.

Pregnancy 26 weeks

So amber doesn't like to post pictures of herself but we have been getting several requests. Here she is at 26 weeks.

A Switch Up From Football

It was kind of an untraditional Thanksgiving for us. With 7 of us we decided to skip out on the turkey trot and turkey bowl and play pickleball. Which turned out to be really fun. Do you like how my belly does not quite fit in my jacket?

Wearing Brown

The 9 members of the Darrell and Vicki Paxman family were here for Thanksgiving, so we decided to take a picture for our Christmas card. We color coordinated ourselves (of course) and headed out to the canyon. You should have seen the women climb out onto the log overhanging the river below. It was quite the sight to see. I didn't want to mention any names... but mom (Vicki) was probably the funniest.

A few weeks ago we found a black widow in the entry way of our house. Ever since then Heather and my mother have been paranoid about the subject. So everytime we sat down to take a picture Robert would say "be careful, don't sit on that black widow". He said it so often we just ignored him. But when he went to find a rock to sit on he actually did find a black widow. Here is Heather telling my mom about it and Robert laughing in the background.
Not the best picture...but I wanted to show a closer up picture of Tanner. I think he is turning into quite the strapling young man. Every time I see him he is taller and more muscular.

Robert is 24!

Every Sunday night we play rook. And even though we adore the game, I wanted to make Robert's Birthday a little different. So I made it a pirate theme. We played a game that tested everyone's pirate vocabulary, went on a scavenger hunt, played pin the patch on Robert and got into teams and raced to put together a pirate puzzle (each team had the same puzzle).

Hair Cut

So our camera is currently broken (for the last 2 months) so I have to pick and choose from the pictures Heather gets of me. Anyway, this is not the best picture of my face...but it does show my haircut.
